The National Geographic Institute (
NGI) collects, manages and distributes geographical information about Belgium, ranging from maps and photos to digital geodata.
NGI was looking for a partner to do a complete rebranding and knocked on
Absoluut’s door. This creative communication agency from Leuven, Belgium, asked Plankton to create 3 stunning animations to celebrate the new branding and let people know just what it is NGI does.
The animations all start from the digital geodata provided by NGI and gradually morph to a specific map. Check out what we came up with for the flight map, the map for emergency vehicles and the topographic map for those nice long walks in nature.
